The French Butcher was inspired during a trip to Paris (2022/3) when we passed his shop whilst escaping the rain. Taken from drawings made on site with the colours as seen. Created and finished in the studio. Wood Green-based landscape painter; member of the Cumberland Road Collective; exhibited at The Discerning Eye (2023) and the Koppel Collection.
