About Selwyn Midgen
I am a landscape artist working with oil paint but also create still life and narrative paintings.
My studio is in Wood Green, Haringey, a part of the Cumberland Road Collective, a group of some 40 artists.
My work is created from drawings made on site, sometimes abroad, and developed into Paintings in the studio.
Exhibitions include The Discerning Eye (2023), Koppel Collection (2024), Framers Gallery (2015), and Studio Open Weekends from 2006-2025.
Works are held by Collectors in the UK, France, Spain, and Singapore.
I have a Diploma in Art from Sir John Cass (1989) and studied at The Royal Drawing School, Heatherley’s School of Art and The Slade (Short Courses).
