Refund policy
Refund and Returns Policy
Regent’s Park Gallery Ltd — 17 Princess Road, London NW1 8JR
We want you to love what you take home. If something is not right, here is exactly what to do.
Your right to cancel
Because you place your order online, you have a legal right under UK law (the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013) to cancel within 14 days, without giving any reason. The 14-day period starts on the day you collect the artwork from the gallery.
How to cancel
To cancel, please tell us in writing by email at eyefeast@regentsparkgallery.com. You can write a short note or use the model cancellation form at the end of this policy. We will acknowledge your cancellation by email within one working day.
Returning the work
If you have already collected the artwork, please return it to:
Regent’s Park Gallery, 17 Princess Road, London NW1 8JR
within 14 days of telling us you are cancelling. The return is at your cost unless the work is faulty or was not as described. Please pack the work in its original packaging, or with equivalent protection, and use a courier with insurance and tracking that covers the full sale price. Title and risk in the work passes back to us when it is delivered to us in good order at the gallery.
Condition of returned works
You may handle the work to inspect it as you would in our gallery. If the work shows signs of more than that — for example, marks, dents, scratches, frame damage, or evidence the work has been hung — we may reduce the refund by an amount that reflects the diminished value.
Your refund
We will refund the full price you paid (we do not charge a delivery fee, as collection is free). We make refunds using the same payment method you used to pay, within 14 days of receiving the work back from us in good order, or within 14 days of you telling us you are cancelling if you have not yet collected the work.
If your work is faulty or not as described
The Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you separate, additional rights if the work is faulty or not as described — for example, if it is damaged when you collect it, or if it does not match the description on the listing. In those cases please contact us within 30 days and we will either refund you in full, replace the work where practical, or arrange a repair, at our cost. These rights are in addition to your 14-day cancellation right above.
Sales made in person at the gallery
If you visit the gallery, see a work in person, and decide there and then to buy it, the legal 14-day cancellation right does not apply (those rights apply only to online and other distance sales). Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — for faulty or misdescribed works — still apply.
Bespoke and commissioned works
If you commission a work from us or one of our artists, the 14-day cancellation right does not apply. We will agree the brief, deposit and delivery in a separate written agreement before any work begins.
Questions
If you have any questions please email eyefeast@regentsparkgallery.com or call us at the gallery.
