Garden of the Hesperides
Garden of the Hesperides
Garden of the Hesperides reflects on temptation through the image of the golden apple, an enduring symbol of the knowledge of good and evil, as well as humanity’s longing for ideals and dreams. Yet the work also suggests that the impossible can sometimes become possible, even the defeat of the ever-watchful dragon hidden in the shadows of the sacred tree. Ukrainian-born figurative artist based in Surrey, working in oil painting and ink drawing across mural commissions, teaching and community projects.
