Doctor to the Barrios

On a country road between the rice fields, a young doctor, still in her cycling helmet, listens to a baby's heartbeat as the family waits on their carabao. The title recalls the Philippine programme that sends young doctors to work in rural villages, the barrios.

On show at Regent’s Park Gallery, 17 Princess Road, London NW1 8JR, in Me Time, Kris Soguilon’s solo exhibition, 10–24 October 2026. Collection from the gallery, in person or by courier.
