Picture With Lots of Labels

This rarely seen, experimental drawing demonstrates a playfulness that while often present is seldom as pronounced as it is here amongst Jolley’s work. Ostensibly it shows little more than the end of a bed and a mess of charging cables, but Jolley uses the opportunity of depicting something potentially boring to instead enliven the picture with jokes, winks and the incorporation of mistakes.
