My Flowers

My Flowers was the first flower painting Jolley made. Already, we can see why the motif appealed to him in the careful interweaving of stems and buds - especially when laced through the striped transparent vase. Used as the primary image for his 2025 Liverpool solo exhibition “Another Day”, this familiar picture is a committed observational study.
