Deflated Balloon

Everyday Extraordinary features a painting of a foil, ghost-shaped balloon — brimming, extended and vibrant. Here, in a study made shortly after that painting was finished and the balloon had deflated, we get the aftermath. The artist takes great enjoyment in recording the creases and folds of the ghost while still catching the shine of its surface.
