Beyond

Building on the themes introduced in Something Over The Fence, another painting also being shown in Everyday Extraordinary, Jolley made this sequel picture. It’s the view from the side alleyway of his parents home. Ordinary fences, streetlamps, brickwork and plants are here organised as graphic elements and have an almost ‘jenga’ quality to them.
