Sunset in the Park (XXVII)

This is one of the series of paintings of sunsets in my local park, in North London. Inspired by the dramatic contrast, light and colours presented by nature, I have been observing sunsets there for a while, capturing the most striking ones in my paintings. Sometimes I feel as if the Nature is the most talented, generous artist showing us its breathtaking masterpieces. Being able to see them fills me with a deep sense of gratitude. Often beauty is right in front of us but we are too busy to appreciate it. I hope that capturing and sharing with viewers the glory of nature will remind of the magnificence and fragility of our Planet, and will help in bringing us together in the effort to protect it.
