About Richard Ingleton
Richard trained at the Edinburgh Atelier of Fine Art. He works exclusively in oil, deploying either classical or ‘alla prima’ techniques depending upon the subject; his work is post-impressionist with a focus of how colour and light capture the idea of the subject. Behind every work is the idea of Hope.
He is a member of the Bucks Art Society and in 2026 was awarded the People’s Favourite Artist by visitors to their annual exhibition. He works both in plein air and in his studio in Wendover.
Ruchard will be having a small group show at the gallery this Autumn.
In Eye Feast
Richard Ingleton is showing one work in Eye Feast: Ice Cream Van.
Ice Cream Van. As children the sound of an ice cream van is nearly as exciting as the sight, which is nearly as exciting as the ice cream in hand.
Eye Feast runs until 27th June 2026 at Regent's Park Gallery, 17 Princess Road, London NW1 8JR.
