About Lina Noueiri
Lina is a British/Lebanese artist based in London who paints scenes of human connection, particularly focusing on food and hands.
She graduated with Distinction from an Art Foundation course before continuing on to study a BA in Architecture, where she received two awards for her first year portfolio, and MA in Architecture at the Royal College of Art.
In 2022 Lina shifted careers to become an artist, where she expanded her technical skills to encompass painting and printmaking.
Since then she has had work accepted into various exhibitions in London such as the Royal Society of British Artists and the Chelsea Art Society.
Lina Noueiri’s materials of choice tend to be oil paint and gouache, though she likes tackling new mediums whenever possible.
Based in Camden, London, Lina’s work takes small moments from her own life that capture feelings of human connection - a theme she became interested in depicting ever since the pandemic.
She is working on a new series of larger oil paintings that are part of a series called ‘Nourishing Connections’ that expands on these motifs of everyday joy, hands, chaos sharing and food.
