Oil painter inspired by the landscapes, shoreline, and changing light of Lough Neagh and the Black Mountains surrounding Belfast.

Creates vibrant contemporary landscapes and still lifes exploring themes of family, belonging, identity, and shared experience.Works from Ashtree Arts studio on the shores of Lough Neagh, surrounded by the wildlife and wild beauty of Ireland.Known for layered colour, expressive light, and richly patterned compositions that combine botanical forms, interiors, and everyday moments.

Maintains an active sketchbook practice using watercolour and mixed media to record first-hand observations and experiences.Currently supported through a prestigious three-year Teacher Artist programme with The Freelands Foundation and The MAC Belfast.Selected for a Teacher Artist residency at Belfast School of Art, developing new work for exhibition at Ulster University.

Winner of the Translink Open Submission, leading to a commissioned artwork for the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum.Made the long list 2026 for the Jackson’s Art Prize with 3 pieces selected.Studied at Central Saint Martins and graduated from Belfast School of Art.

Brings over 30 years of experience in art education while continuing to develop a lifelong personal painting practice alongside motherhood and family life.
